[school-core] incipient news site

Dear Schoolforge Members,

I've been trying unsuccessfully to upgrade the opensourceschools.org database so
that it can become the news.schoolforge.net site, so I've just created a new
site to which we can begin making changes and posting news at any time. If you
don't disapprove of this, then I will change the dns records for
opensourceschools.org to point at http://members.iteachnet.org/~oss

I invite each of you to create a username and password for yourself. I propose
to give member reps story moderator rights (after you've created your username,
I'll change the rights). If you send me a message about it, I'll do it faster.

This way, each project will have the right, and be encouraged, to post about
his/her group's efforts, questions, promises, threats, etc.

It's the latest Geeklog so there's a nice calendar, links (please post your
group's site!) so we can quickly get a nice list of members.

Finally, the site can do php blocks and rss feeds, so if anyone wants their
headlines listed, please give me the info. 

I hope we can have the latest apps from Les's seul-edu list, case studies, k120S
headlines, and any other bedrock info sites's headlines.

Finally, finally, I'd gratefully take on co-managers for any aspect of the site. 

When I get a few responses, I'll know if/when I should start pointing the domain
there. I'll move the old opensourceschools.org and link to it as "archives" as
there is lots of good stuff there.
