One of the great things about XML is that there is no need
to fight.  There is no disadvantage to using the same
standards.  And to some extent, switching between different
XMLs should not be too difficult.  It is important to keep
in mind that most of the content that is going to be
available is probably going to be using the commercial
standards; we can have the best system in the world, but if
we have no content, what's the point?
