Re: [school-discuss] Producing Animated GIFs

Since 2002 I have used the Gimp in class for creating animated .gifs.
Works well and students enjoy it. This past year one of them (Emmanuel)
used a stack of post-its to draw each frame, scan, and compile in the Gimp.
He made two this way and they were fabulous. One was of a fish swimming
underwater. Very realistic. We also made our head's spin using 8 head
photos. Stick death gifs are always popular. Love the Gimp!
