[school-discuss] RE: Membership Entry Notification

Dear Imani n Umoja,

'Nuf said. Welcome to Schoolforge.

You may already have seen the requirements of membership, but let me point them
out for you.

First, we ask that you join knowing that you must subscribe to
schoolforge-discuss (our mailing list) and, above all, participate. We are
nothing if not collaborative. If you haven't already done so, then, please go to
http://schoolforge.net/sfdiscuss.php and fill out the form there.

When I approve your application, you will automatically be subscribed to the
low-volume members-only schoolforge-core mailing list as well.

Secondly, please go to http://schoolforge.net/logos and choose one you like to
copy to your site and link to http://www.schoolforge.net -- and please place it
in a prominent place on your site.

If you would add something about educatin and free/open source software on your
site, it would help people to understand your involvement in Schoolforge. I hope
you'll consider doing so.

Third, please go to news.schoolforge.net and create an account for yourself. I
will approve it and give you editor's rights so that you can post announcments
regarding your project's progress on the news site. They can be relatively
brief, pointing to details on your own site(s).

Finally, thank you for your persistent interest and we look forward to working
with you.

Sincerely,

David
