I'm not a big fan of Flash, but someone mentioned this on the SDL
mailing list and I thought it looked very interesting:

Adobe's using the gcc compiler tool chain to cross-compile
applications for Flash and web browsers.  You could potentially take
Open Source projects and cross-compile to use this way or write your
own code and share it this way.
