[school-discuss] Digital Solidarity Fund

I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask whether
the leaders of the Malawi project have
received any help from the Global Digital
Solidarity Fund. It seems to me that the
project might meet the Fund's criteria as
they are described here:

On the Fund's list of standards, I noticed
in particular number 15: the requirement
that projects must "make use of open-source
software whenever possible."

Does anyone in SchoolForge-land have any
experience with the Fund?
