hello
i have to teach a basic course (36 hours) in computer science for
law-and-similar-stuff students, post B.Sc;

i'd like to place them in the open source world since many of them are
MS-Office, MS-Windows and alike sons and daughters;

i'll surely teach OOffice, but i need some idea about other software,
especially regarding web applications;

thanks in advance !

Hello Roberto,

My 2 Eurocents:

- Would it be an idea to teach them about text processing?
	The power of the command line, grep,sed, pipes,
	etcetera.

- Would it be an idea to teach them about licenses?
	The 'why' and 'how' of them.

- Would it be an idea to teach them about copyleft?
	Why is it so important for lawyers.

Teaching OOo (great program BTW) has no scientific value.
With kind regards,
Dirk Schouten
