The most recent humanoid design that I've heard
of is the HRP-4C, which runs ART-Linux 2.6 as its
primary OS. It seems to have some interesting
capabilities considering it only runs on an old
Pentium M at 1.6GHz. Rumor has it that upcoming
models may have multi-processor design and much
more sophisticated algorithms.

The descendants of the department-store mannequins
will take over the world. . . . :-)
