[school-discuss] [Fwd: [Urgent] Linux Format]

I think this should probably be addressed by the Schoolforge UK people:

Hi

I am writing from Linux Format (www.linuxformat.co.uk). We are publishing an article about Linux in education, and I would be very grateful if someone from SchoolForge were free to talk to me about your work and opinion on the subject.

Would you be free to answer some of my questions over email? They are:
1. Can you tell me how SourceForge was set up, and what it's goals are?
2. You recently held the FLOSSIE conference. Was that successful, and did any agreements come out of it?
2. Why do you believe that Linux has such a strong role to play in education around the world?
4. Which Linux education software or systems do you most admire at the moment?
5. What steps should be taken to give Linux a larger role in schools in the UK and elsewhere?

I would be very grateful if you are free to answer my questions - it is quite urgent I'm afraid! If you need any more information about the magazine please don't hesitate to contact me.

With kind regards

Rebecca Smalley
