Re: New mailing list? (was: [school-discuss] Iturralde Crater Expedition 2002 --> it starts today, tell your class.)

hello,

here's some of what we have on our list to produce
as downloadable cd-roms :

6 45 minute sessions including experiments, pamphlets, quizzes,
and teacher's notes on sea level rise and remediation.

over 100 scores of classical music for
string quartet, chorus, brass quintet, voice and piano,
piano

6 new, original screenplays with gnu lics.

physics and math textbooks (yes we found some)!

collections of novels, plays and histories in french, spanish and german.

live video productions of our original screenplays.

audio books of ecverything.

2000+ formatted text books with table of contents.

over 100+ movie screenplays.

the object is to reduce the mandatory cost of student and teacher printed
materials to the cost of paper, ink, binding ... i.e. direct
production costs.

we think the univerities that are local to each user can use this as a
baseline for new, modern
copyrightfree textbooks and other materials.
