hello to the list
i currently work in a school (K9-12) where pc's hold windows xp and (i
can't believe) windows ME;
so i am looking for open source educational software which runs under
WS and it is intended for mathematics and/or physics;
i know and use geogebra but i need also something more
algebra-oriented, also for symbolic calculus, i mean;
have you ever used maxima ? what do you think about it ?
any hint about this topic is very well accepted
