You keep saying that and I keep wondering why.  Explain what you mean by
that.  Wouldn't that be no different than advertising SEUL's release on
the web page with a link that say's "download SEUL 0.1" that just points
to Debian's ftp site?

Are you talking about just changing everything that says Debian, to
SEUL?  Why bother with, in your own words, "a copy of Debian 2.0"?  SEUL
0.1 should be just that, "SEUL 0.1".

SEUL should be using Debian as a very good reference/resource, not
copying it.  You should just make a list of what they are using in what
areas, take the good, modify it to reflect SEUL, text files etc. that
say Debian, recompile what needs it, and chuck the bad.  Not copy it and
modify the text refering to Debian.

If I'm misunderstanding your meaning let me know.
