Well said. I'm not trying to force people into any particular way of doing things.
I'm trying to show that there are other ways of doing things. It's up to the
individual to do what he wants.

But above the development works there needs to be an organisation which can show
people the different models of doing things.

Some developers would love to develop edsoft with you but they may not have any
idea about how to proceed. Some may come from industry and are looking to join
teams that work the way they do (me for example). Some might want to work without
any direction at all.

But someone needs to bring all these people together in an organized fashion. That
someone is SEUL-EDU.

Look at KDE - very successful project. The organisation there is very close to
what I'm used to but developers are free to do what they want. They attract a lot
of professional programmers - why? Because they're familiar with that way of
working. Programmers that I know may join your mailing lists and wonder just what
is going on and what they could ever do for you. These things need to be addressed
to get more volunteers.

The people who've mailed me at Linux for Kids almost all ask for direction.
They're keen but don't know how to proceed. They're either programmers who wonder
how to apply their skills to this field or parents/teachers who have ideas and
don't know how to develop and implement them. All of these wonderful people need
to be pulled together in productive teams to produce.

Linux for Kids will be for development. I feel passionately that SEUL-EDU can
bring everyone else together and achieve things that you all would never think
possible.

Roman.
