Well, Disney, like most large companies, contains many small operating
units.  The group that makes the Disney home educational software,
Disney Interactive, isn't the same as the group that makes the classroom
software, Disney Educational Products, which isn't the same as their
educational philanthropic arm, Disney Learning Partnership, which isn't
the same as the technical development group, Disney Imagineering.  At
any rate, Squeak was initially started at Apple, but its development
team was moved to Disney (I believe because that section of Apple was
sold to Disney, but I'm not sure).  While the Squeak core development
team is at Disney, there's substantial involvement from UIUC, Georgia
Tech, INRIA in France, and the Univ. of Magdeburg.

So don't think of it so much as becoming involved with Disney as
visiting the Squeak development team at their "day jobs."
