  Subject:Re: [seul-edu] ISO Phase 1--work time!

  I attempted to go throught he administration category and also
  attempted to follow the suggested groupings for the programs listed.

  Since I could not think of a good way to report on the items, I modified
  the applications web page by adding a third column.

  Much of the information in this category deals with programs to be
  run by systems people; some of it relates to school administration
  with district level programs mixed in - there are also some programs
  aimed at universityies.

  Most of the 'teacher" programs operate on the assumption that
  teachers are also maintainers of web pages and have cgi- priviledges
  - which is not a real world event. While some districts are technologically
  adept - there are not many places I know of that offer inexpensive hosting
  which includes Perl and PHP. Hopefully, this will be changing soon.

  While this has been quite an experience, I am afraid I do not have much
  to offer as evaluations.

  Hopefully this will be of some assistance;
