[seul-edu] GPLconx no longer maintained

I have just received an email (here included) from David Chandler,
the author of GPLconx, a math software that i have found browsing
seul database. With my disappinment, he says GPLconx is not maintained
any more.
I am wondering how many products stored in the database are still
actively supported by their authors or profesisonal programmers.
I think it would be nice if seul were able to offer this kind of
information, for each database entry.

Hi Paolo,

I've updated the web page to indicate that GPLconx is
no longer being maintained. I'd love to see other,
more general tools incorporate GPLconx's core
visualization algorithms, so I've also indicated that
I'll be happy to license those under a BSD-like
license.

If you know of any links I could put on my page that
might be helpful, I'd appreciate it.

I'd advise you not to bother compiling GPLconx--if
your compile succeeds, you'll be left with the world's
clumsiest user interface, the navigation of which I've
by now forgotten.

If you must compile it: You don't need gengetopt.
You do need the .debs for tcl8.x-dev, tcl8.x,
tk8.x-dev, and tk8.x.

Sorry for the goose chase, and best of luck.

-David
