Description: pyKarel is a Karel to Python translator.  Karel is a very simple, easy-to-use high-level programming language. It is often used to teach first-year computer science students. It is popular because it presents the student programmer with the same problems that confound real computer scientists using more powerful languages such as C++, but it is simple enough to avoid overwhelming and scaring away new students.
