I worked for several schools.  In those schools piracy was indeed rampant.
When I was the computer coord. I got in many fights with teachers after
refusing to install stuff illegally.  Finally I took the issue to the
principal -- he supported me, however, would often ask me to do illegal
things anyway.  I assume he just didn't know, but I am not sure.
