RPM-based systems usually split libraries in two packages, one, libfoo,
needed for running applications and another libfoo-devel, needed for
compilation and development.

If you have the RH 6.2 CD, it probably has the -devel RPM that fits best
with the library runtime (the non-devel package) that you may already have
installed.
