Well, I don't know Python OR Tcl/Tk,  but the CURRENT version of Figurine is 
written in Tcl/Tk.  (From what I saw of Python, it looked as if it might fit
over Tcl/Tk also.  (Personnally I typically use Xforms... I'm hoping once
Xforms gets to ver. 1.0 it'll be GPL'd... I'm probably overly optimistic... )
