 > Tor Launcher does not currently provide any clickable links or otherwise
 provide a way to load any web pages. Is the idea here that we will
 advertise a different URL in the Tor Launcher help text? (currently, the
 help text shows https://bridges.torproject.org)

 The problem as it was discussed at the last developer meeting (and
 reported to me by folks at the help desk) was that
 https://bridges.torproject.org says "Step 1: Download TBB", and users
 coming from TorLauncher are like "okay! I will do that!" and apparently
 happily recurse themselves into download-then-launch oblivion.

 If you want to skip the main "Download TBB" page, TorLauncher could:

  1. link to the new `options` page for selecting bridge type:

     https://bridges.torproject.org/options

  2. or link directly to the `bridges` page with the options pre-chosen,
 i.e.:

     https://use
 https://bridges.torproject.org/bridges?transport=obfs3&lang=ar

  would make them solve a CAPTCHA, then give them `obfs3` bridges, all in
 Arabic.

 The URL parameters recognised are:
  * `lang`: any language code or five character locale specifier, i.e. `es-
 ES`, `fa`, `zh-CN`, etc.
  * `transport`: currently recognised are `obfs2`, `obfs3`, `scramblesuit`,
 and `fte`.
  * `ipv6`: if set to `true`, try to get IPv6 bridge lines.
  * `format`: if set to `plain`, return the answer in `text/plain`, i.e.
 without any HTML, just the literal text that should be pasted into
 TorLauncher.

 I'm going to close this ticket, since if the TBB folks want to change
 something there's now a lot of options. But if there's anything that I can
 do to make specifying options easier, or someone needs different options,
 feel free to reopen. :)
