 We haven't recommended privoxy for use with Tor for a few years now: it's
 some really scary code, and can't help you with HTTPS.

 Still, it's worth investigating which change it was that broke privoxy
 here.  What is the last version that did work with privoxy and SOCKS5 for
 you?  Is anything appearing in the Tor logs here?
