[tor-bugs] #6368 [EFF-HTTPS Everywhere]: HTTPS Everywhere 2.1 Yahoo mail login

#6368: HTTPS Everywhere 2.1 Yahoo mail login

I get a message that my email or my password is incorrect, when ''HTTPS
Everywhere'' is enabled, even though it's disabled for ''YahooÂmail''.
Even though ''HTTPSÂEverywhere'' is set by default '''''not''''' to work
on ''YahooÂmail'', I still can't log-in, despite the fact that I see that
''HTTPSÂEverywhere'' is set '''''not''''' to work on ''YahooÂmail'' (with
 a red X mark next to "YahooÂMailÂ(buggy)" and "YahooÂMailÂ4
 (experimental)")!
The only way I can log-in using ''FirefoxÂ12'', is by disabling the add-on
 all together.
It's strange that I have an ''HTTPSÂEverywhere'' version for ''Google
Chrome'' and it never does this problem.
I don't like to disable the add-on all together every time I wanted to
 log-in to my ''YahooÂmail''.

 Looks like "eilegz" [https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/4441
had the same problem]. I found a link next to the "Yahoo Mail (buggy)" in
the list on ''HTTPS Everywhere'': https://eff.org/r.G7u
 I'm using ''FirefoxÂ12'' on ''WindowsÂ7''. Supposedly it's a problem only
encountered by older versions of Firefox, I have to point out that I can't
use ''FirefoxÂ13'' and newer stable versions up till now because they have
a defect which make them display oblique fonts quite illegible.

By the way, I know how to disable specific sites from using HTTPS from
''HTTPSÂEverywhere'' and I silently did it for some sites, such as for
''GoogleÂServices'' because it stopped translate.google.com from
 translating URLs.
