 In the case some friends of mine are investigating right now, this seems
 to be related to Thunderbird/TorBirdy trying to open a Drafts folder that
 does not exist, but insisting on it, so it enters an infinite loop.

 There might be a difference between "Setting up the IMAP account and then
 installing TorBirdy" and "Installing TorBirdy and then setting up the IMAP
 account".
