 Actually, if we decide to do the self-modifying method to get the absolute
 path to the icon, how do we handle interactions with the updater? Is there
 a way to flag a file as non-incremental in the event of an update?
 Otherwise, if we need to change the .desktop file in the future, the
 incremental update will fail the CRC check for the file for all Linux
 users, and all of them will download the full update for that release.
