Comment:

 We have a new release you can test if you are still having problems:
 https://github.com/guardianproject/Orbot/Orbot-1.0.6-Tor-0.2.3.6-alpha-
 RC2.apk/qr_code

 It is also has a DEBUG setting you can active, and then use aLogCat to see
 the specific error message.

 In addition, the new home screen should display a bit more detail when
 there is an error.
