Twitter decides to randomly hate Tor and start demanding phone numbers.
This is something that Twitter needs to address and is not a Tor problem.
ps: Yes it sucks. It's happened to me. Opening a support ticket and saying
that you use Tor for personal privacy and you don't want to give them a
phone number has been reported to work, though the response time when this
happened to me was... about a week.
