 Okay. In that case, what versions of autotools are you using?  It sounds
 like this might work with your version of autotools but not mine.

 Also, could you post the errors you get when trying to build Tor from the
 source tarball?  (Or point me to them, if they are in the other ticket but
 I didn't see them.)
