There are several scenarios in which you might want to visit this kind of mirrors:

- To see documentation, manuals and howto guides.
- To download an updated version of Tor or any other related software.
- Traffic to torproject.org and some other sites could be easily monitored (or blocked) in some countries such as China. 
- You can access an onionland mirror from the internet using a Tor proxy such as Tor2Web.com. Access to torproject.org and known mirrors is currently being monitored/blocked in some countries (e.g: China).
