Details:

Using Debian Squeeze, other information attached in Xorg.0.log.old.

Using Alt+F, I can switch to full screen mode with no problem. I can switch
back fine, and then once more switch to Full screen, and back. But the third
time I switch to full screen, my display becomes a solid gray and freezes.

I recovered by switching to a console (ctrl+alt+F6) and switching to runlevel
1 and then back to 2.

Same results on the boswars version I have installed, (boswars 2.6.1-2) and
the svn version (10114) I built.
