Kyabram? I'm dobbing in Bill Solly; you couldn't find a nicer bloke and he
acts as a de facto volunteer helpdesk for a whole cluster of Adult
Education Centres in the central north there...

and while you're at it, start letting Philanthropy Australia know about
your plans. They may set you up with a benefactor (have you thought about
setting up in Geelong? Ford Australia's "The United Way" would have to
seriously consider your project for funding)

Hello everyone,
In my search for a separate building in Melbourne where Computerbank,
RecruitNet and the Information Literacy Foundation (ask Bill) can receive
all the computers donated following our upcoming TV and radio publicity,
I'm stirring up some wider possibilities.
Tomorrow I'm going to be in touch with the Victorian Branch of the National
Trust, I've had a tip. I learnt on the way through to that that every state
has its own branch of the Trust and each interstate division of
Computerbank might be able to do as well as I expect to do ... a beaut big
building for free! If not from the National Trust, someone somewhere, no
worries! :-)
*More* Hort Halls which we can set up *permanently* to do our refurbishing
-- I'd like to see THAT!
It's interesting, in my searching I'm running across beaut buildings in
places where we don't yet have people. Who knows someone in or near Kyabram
who might set up a branch of Computerbank? The court house there is
available right now ... and it is probably free. Heritage Victoria would
like to have it occupied, they have their good reasons why. Nothing to do
with security, it is next door to the police station.
So ........ who knows who?
Who wants a building ... where?
