This is too lame to be called a hack. Since there is no toolbar yet, i am
just sloppily popping up a pallete every time a canvas is created. I
haven't considered it a priority to fix this up becuase (hopefully) soon
it will be replaced with a real toolbar.

Send them to George, probably. But if you plan to do serrious work, you
should probably get a CVS account and commit changes directly. Mail
miguel@gnu.org if you want an account in GNOME CVS, with your prefered
username and password.
