Dear Sir,

Good day.

I am a senior banker in one of the banks in Nigeria. I wish to solicit your cooperation in a joint venture that I am going to explain below.

On June 8, 1997, an Irish Oil Consultant/Contractor with Nigerian National Petroleum Cooperation (NNPC) Mr. Morris Power placed a deposit for twelve calendar months valued at US$18M (Eighteen Million US Dollars) in my Branch. On maturity, I sent a routine notification to his forwarded address in Nigeria but got no reply. After several months we sent a reminder and finally we discovered from his contract employer (Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation) that Mr. Morris Power died in an auto crash accident in Nigeria. All attempts by the Bank to trace his next of kin were fruitless.

I therefore made further investigation and discovered that Mr. Morris Power did not declare any next of kin or relations in all his official documents including his deposit document in my bank. The total sum and accrued interest are still in my bank in a dormant account. No one has ever come forward to claim it. According to Nigerian banking law, after five years, the money will revert to the ownership of the Nigerian Government if the account owner is certified dead and nobody comes forward to claim it as his relation.

As a result, I am looking for a foreigner who will stand in as the beneficiary/next of kin to Mr. Morris Power. It is to play this role that I write to request your cooperation.

If you agree with my proposal, all you have to do is to send to me a bank account anywhere in the world, your address, telephone and fax numbers to enable me arrange all payment documents of the money in your favour as a relation of the late Mr. Morris Power. The money will then be paid into the account legally for us to share.

This payment will be an in-house arrangement made by our bank hence, no body will ask you questions or make enquiry to know whether you are related to the late Mr. Morris Power or not. Furthermore, there is no risk involved I will use my position in the bank to arrange the legal payment documents in your favour as a relation of the Late Mr. Morris Power.

If you accept my proposal, please, reply through my private email address: suleadams@netscape.net

Thanks in anticipation of your cooperation.

Best regards,
Sule Adams
