There's a 40MHz 8-bit ADC from Ti, i am sure that other (more recent) types
have more definition or bandwidth. The good news is that this speed grade
requires a parallel interface on the chip (the usual serial interface would
require a 320Mbps). The bad news is that you will have to design a specific
PCI board if you want to fit into your PC. This includes controller and
memory buffer (a large FIFO).
If you can't do this, you can find "data acquisition" devices from many
manufacturers (the most reknown is National Instruments).
It depends on what you have in mind.
