Actually, I have to admit that I have been doing some coding.  To update
everyone (and, of course, get feedback) here is what I have been doing:

After going round and round on the repository problem, and scouring and
trying different packages, etc. I have begun doing this:

I am developing an ODMG93 compliant object database (easier said than done).
I plan to release this GPL under the name of FreeODB under the FreeCASE
banner (if there are no objectives).

The plan is this:

Version 0.1.0 (I am trying to have this out by April 15th):

Single-user version with C++ bindings.

Version 0.2.0 (?)

XML support (and specifally XMI).

Version 0.3.0 (?)

Java bindings.

Version 0.5.0 (?)

Multi-user, CORBA-compliant.

I know that this is ambitious, but we have to make a stab at it.  Any takers
on assistance, or suggestions ?
