I've always thought that
http://www-swiss.ai.mit.edu/6805/articles/int-prop/barlow-economy-of-ideas.html
was a really fun read.

Come to think of it, http://www-swiss.ai.mit.edu/6805/articles/int-prop/ seems
to have quite the collection of documents...

A quick search turned up a couple hundred like the following:

http://www.w3.org/PICS/PICS-FAQ-980126.html
http://www.ala.org/alaorg/oif/filt_stm.html
http://www.msen.com/~litman/no.htm
http://journal.law.ufl.edu/~techlaw/2/fujita.html
http://www.eff.org/pub/Intellectual_property/free_music.article

I'll try to take some time in the next few days (in my copious free time)
to sort through some of these.
It would be nice if there were a central repository for these documents (or
links to them), and it would be nice if it were separate from projects like
freenet, so you guys don't have to divert energy building and maintaining
it. I guess we can always dream...
