[freehaven-dev] meeting tomorrow 2pm
in room 2-255 as usual.
brian's out of town, but i think the rest of us are still here.
agenda: implementation.
i want to talk about the layer between comm and haven where we pass
messages, etc.
specifically, i think comm should skim through messages
for me, and replace
<share>foo</share> with
<sharefile>hash(foo)</sharefile>
where hash is a hash of the foo and the actual foo is stored in a file
by name hash(foo), accessible by both comm and haven.
that will keep message size low.
and if that didn't make sense, i'll make it make sense tomorrow.
i also want to discuss ways of foiling the "gain trust because people
keep secondary shares for you" exploit.
