testbreak is a small text file I made up. I used
/usr/home/dmolnar/cryptest to break it into 10 pieces, any 5 of which
should reconstruct. I managed to successfully reconstruct using
shares 00-05. (yes, that's six shares. I wasn't thinking)
You'll notice that all the shares are the same size (roughly) as the
original file. That's what I will work on next - moving from secret
sharing to IDA with share sizes smaller than entire file.
In the meantime, run /usr/home/dmolnar/cryptest to see the interface for
breaking a file into pieces and reconstructing.
Thanks,
-David
