Summary: gnucap >= 2005_06_10 segfaults reproducable
Initial Comment:
First a short intro. I'm a Linux enthousiast /
programmer and a packager
for Fedora Extras which is an online community that
packages software in
the native package format for Fedora Core a (well
known) Linux distribution.
As such I've been busy packaging gcompris:
http://gcompris.net for Fedora, gcompris is an
educational suite which uses gnucap as backend for a
simple included elctronics simulation. Unfortunatly the
gnucap-input files created crash gnucap versions >=
2005_06_10, older versions work fine.
I've tried debugging the crash and reviewing the diff
between 2005-02-20 and 2005-06-10, but the diff is way
to large and the debugger of no help to me, as I hardly
know the code.
Just do gnucap -b <file> with the attached example and
you'll see the crash.
