gEDA-bug: [Bug 905294] Re: Feature * scheme-api * pointer-position function should return snapped coordinates if requested.

Hi Peter,
in attachment a patch with two function.
Please, tell me if i well understand the specs.
I think also the first patch about the pointer-position to return a snapped pointer coordinates if requested could be a good solution. I'm placing all the functions in the window module as all are related to the window object.

Regards,
Luigi

PS:
The patch contain also a commented line in o_complex.c. I found that line can cause a crash in gschem in some conditions that i need to investigate !

Title:
  Feature * scheme-api * pointer-position function should return snapped
  coordinates if requested.

Status in GPL Electronic Design Automation tools:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
It could be usefull if the pointer-position function returns the
current coordinates of the mouse pointer snapped to the grid if
  requested.

I think two alternative solutions can be take in consideration:
  1) make a new function (i.e. "snapped-pointer-position") to do this job, or
  2) using the current function with an optional argument to do that.

In the patch in attachment i opted for the second choice.

  Thanks,
  Luigi
