Title:
gschem fails to pan with objects attached to the mouse
Status in GPL Electronic Design Automation tools:
New
Bug description:
If objects are attached to the mouse, right mouse drag fails to pan
the canvas. Instead, the objects return where they were and get
deselected.
To reproduce:
1) open gschem
2) place a symbol
3) select the symbol
4) press [m] to get into move mode
5) move the mouse
The selected symbol moves in unison with the mouse cursor
6) drag with the right mouse button
The symbol immediately returns to its original position. It gets deselcted. The canvas does not pan like it does when in select mode. This duplicates the behavior on [esc] keypress while in move mode.
This is a deviation of the principle of least surprise. In addition, drag in move mode would be convenient to move objects beyound the current viewport.
