Summary: versions on cvs/git out of sync

Initial Comment:
Hello,

I've been trying to build geda out of the git repository I downloaded, though it wasn't possible.

I've compiled gnu gettext from sources, but at compile time within gscheme/, autopoint fails saying something like "cvs (no such branch) gettext-0.17", so it cannot compile.

I also noticed gscheme requires a version o libgeda posterior to the one shipped.

Same with the git's cvs version, which I downloaded following what's explained on the wiki (the master branch), which doesn't seem to be the same than the git one.

Regards,
