Ditto here. I'm doing a design having something like 2700 pins/pads.
It got to be more than my 1.6 gigahertz AMD with 1.0 Gig memory would
handle, so to speed things up I made a "ssh" connection to a dual
processor machine running two 3.6 gigahertz processors.
My own machine is running gEDA 20070227 while the other machine
apparently is running the next older version. I run "gschem" on my AMD,
then transfer the *.pcb and *.net files to the other machine. I see the
same problem cited above, and apparently the line can be deleted without
adverse effects. So far at least I have not seen any problems. I
haven't done a route yet though.
