gEDA-user: Polygon islands in PCB

My designs often have two ground and two voltage regimes. In the case of 
my current PCB, it would be really nice to have a rectangle island that 
clears a larger rectangle.  Of course, I can make this by building the 
polygon ocean with other units, like overlapping rectangles, or probably 
  a polygon and a rectangle.

Is there some trick I don't know for insetting a smaller rectangle 
inside a larger one that gives me automatic clearance?
