Four monitors on one PC, xdm + xterm + fvwm2 with four virtual
desktops, custom menu bar app, hotkeys all map to a script which
detects which virtual desktop is showing and redirects the commands to
one of two machines (the other uses remote X plus ssh).  Makes it all
look like a seamless hotkey between two PCs.

Note: this is where I work too, hence the tech overkill ;-)
