I need to correct some a misconception that is been spreading for some
time now.  gEDA/gaf (or PCB IIRC) are *NOT* gnome apps.  gEDA/gaf and
all the programs contained within desktop independent and I would like
to keep it that way.

Of course if the above locale names make sense in the general case,
then by all means, let's fix them.
