Is there a place in official documentation of PCB where it is described
what the user should put in footprint attribute to instantiate
particular footprint which he selects from the library?

For example in pcblib, ~TTL 74xx DIL there is "7401, 4 dual-NAND OC". I
would like to know how to map this onto the footprint.
