gEDA-user: How to find latest gEDA sources

I just saw that pcb-20070208 snapshot is now included in Gentoo-Linux.
Great news -- gEDA support was not too good in Gentoo in the last
months.

To make life of Linux package maintainers more easy, there should always
be a list of latest gEDA packages available -- maybe together with some
explanations about installation.

I have never tried installing gEDA from sources, so please excuse my
ignorance. But

lists PCB 20060822, which is not the latest shnapshot.

Are the other listed version up to date -- or is there a other better
page for source download?

Or should Linux package maintainers prefer to use gEDA Suite CDROM,
which is dated 20061214.
