It's going to take you a lot longer than you think. I first encountered this sort of industrial strength EDA in 1993. It took me about four months to become productive with it despite my decades of experience with applied physics, circuit design and numerical analysis (I wrote a FORTRAN program for filter design in 1969). Of course that learning time was a worthwhile investment in the long run: the circuits I designed with that EDA system wound up on five spacecraft.

Do you know enough semiconductor physics to create models when you can't download them? Do you know enough about numerical analysis to recognize the symptoms of a calculation that's run off the rails because of a poorly conditioned matrix? Do you know how to fix such problems when they occur (one trick: parasitics are your friends ;-). This stuff is *hard* even with lots of experience and the very best tools: you're not going to just snap your fingers and make it work, and there are very serious limits to how much we can help you.
