gEDA-user: [RFC 0/6] Some suggestions for discussion.

Hi all,

I have a few mostly-unrelated proposals that I hoped people might to
hear about. These might be suitable for implementation in the 1.7
development series.

  1. Non-Turing-complete configuration files.
  2. Plugin system.
  3. Embedding system revamp.
  4. "New window" functionality.
  5. Use of X server clipboard.
  6. Generation of log files.

See separate e-mails. Note that none of these proposals have any code
behind them: they are merely talking points. Please try and keep
discussion reasonably on-topic. In about a week's time, I will attempt
to summarise the discussion so far on each of the proposals.
